Calibration Of Equipment

All the instruments in the Plants are calibrated as per respective Standard Operating Procedures. Calibration status and observations are attached with individual instruments, showing the date of calibration and its next due date for calibration. Also, Calibration Certificates of the instruments and Certificates of calibration of the reference standards used during calibration are preserved for the reference. If any deviation at any stage is found, the Engineering Department informs the concerned department and the QA categorizes the defect as critical, non-critical or most critical breakdown and necessary corrective actions are being taken instantly.

RECORDING:

Records for each type of validation are maintained and are in charge of Q.A.

For each and every equipment a calibration recording sheet is maintained, the recording sheets contains the readings of the required parameters for individual equipments along with deviation found.

Equipment is released with a tag affixed on equipment bearing following details:
Instrument name , Instrument no, Calibration done on , Calibration due on , Signature of technical staff releasing the equipment.
