Skill Enhancement & Livelihood Support for Acid Attack Survivors

Akums Health & Education Society collaborated with Chhanv Foundation to empower acid attack survivors through a Skill Enhancement & Livelihood Support Programme. A three-day training initiative equipped 15 participants with personality development, communication, sewing, and embroidery skills to enhance their employability and self-reliance. The programme also raised awareness among the Akums team about the challenges faced by survivors, reinforcing our commitment to inclusive growth, dignity, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for marginalized communities.

Helmet Distribution to Print Media Partners in collaboration with the Regional Transport Office (RTO)

Akums Health & Education Society partnered with the Regional Transport Office (RTO) to promote road safety through a public awareness initiative. As part of the programme, 100 ISI-certified helmets were distributed to print media professionals, recognizing their vital role in spreading awareness and encouraging responsible road practices. This initiative reflects Akums' commitment to enhancing community well-being, fostering a culture of road safety, and driving meaningful social impact through collaborative CSR efforts.

Blanket Distribution for Shelter Homes in association with the District Administration and District Disaster Management Unit

As part of its commitment to community welfare, Akums Health & Education Society organized a Blanket Distribution Initiative in collaboration with the District Administration and District Disaster Management Unit. During the winter season, 300 blankets were distributed to shelter homes, providing warmth and comfort to underprivileged and homeless individuals. This initiative reflects Akums' dedication to supporting vulnerable communities through timely humanitarian assistance and meaningful CSR interventions.

Sweater Distribution to Government School Students

As part of its CSR commitment, Akums Health & Education Society organized a Sweater Distribution Drive for students in government schools across remote areas of Haridwar. A total of 210 sweaters were distributed to help children stay warm and continue their education comfortably during the winter season. This initiative reflects Akums' dedication to promoting education, improving student well-being, and supporting underprivileged communities through meaningful social interventions.

Maintaining Greenery at SIDCUL, Haridwar

COVID Center with an Expandable Bed Capacity of 250

In response to the unprecedented pandemic, Akums converted one of its plants into a dedicated COVID center with an expandable bed capacity of 250. In collaboration with the Government, we ensured a consistent supply of oxygen, medicines, and skilled healthcare professionals to provide timely care during this critical period. This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to supporting the community and safeguarding the well-being of those affected by the pandemic.

World Hepatitis Day 2024 Awareness Workshop

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Akums Foundation organized a six-day Blood Donation Drive across its Haridwar and Kotdwar units. Employees enthusiastically participated, donating a remarkable 977 units of blood. The collected blood was contributed to leading blood banks and hospitals, helping strengthen lifesaving healthcare services for patients in need.
